Established in 2012, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal (also known as AIIMS Bhopal) is one of the seven apex healthcare institutes set up in India by the Ministry of Healthcare and Family Welfare (MHFW) under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). The institute is autonomous in nature and is recgonised by MHFW. AIIMS Bhopal was featured in ‘The Week‘ as one of the best medical colleges in India. AIIMS Bhopal offers medical education at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level with courses such as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), BSc (Nursing), MD, MS, Magister Chirurgiae (MCh), Post Doctoral Certificate Course in Critical Care (PDCC) and PhD in all its branches and related fields, along with Nursing and Paramedical training.
