Established in 2019, All India Institute of Medical Sciences Gorakhpur (also known as AIIMS Gorakhpur or AIIMS-G) is a government medical research institute located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the four ‘Phase-IV’ All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) announced by Ministry of Healthcare and Family Welfare (MHFW) under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) in July 2014. The prime goal of AIIMS Gorakhpur is to impart quality education in Medical stream and healthcare facilities and along with education and research to areas under-served of all such aspects.
