All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Telangana was established in 2019. It is one of the apex healthcare institutes made by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India under PMSSY. In addition, it is among the, which is tagged as of National Importance. Hence, it functions as an autonomous institute. Moreover, it occupies the Bibinagar campus of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS).
AIIMS Hyderabad currently offers four programmes – MBBA, MD, MS, and BSc (H) Nursing. Admission to the offered programmes is entrance-based.
