AIIMS New Delhi was inaugurated in 1956 following the vision of Rajkumari Amrit Kaur, the then Health Minister of India. It admits students for MBBS, MD/MS, DM/M.Ch, B.Sc Nursing, MSc, and PhD programs, and is the flagship campus among all AIIMS institutes.
