Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy or SASTRA Deemed-to-be University is one of the popular deemed-to-be universities in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1984 as Shanmugha College of Engineering and conferred the deemed-to-be university status in 2001.
